Threesome Sandwich?

Whoops. Who knew one photo can say so much.

amor,
Yvonne

p.s. I am so sorry that I haven't met any of my promises. There still has not been any reconstruction of the blog, new photos or anything about my trip to the other side of the world... I have been really busy lately but hopefully I'll get all that done during September if sophomore year doesn't have too many plans for me...

p.s.s I have been learning guitar? Got a Cort electric acoustic guitar:) Planning to get an amp soon... I'll try to post a picture of it soon, since my new camera has not come in yet...

p.s.s.s. New fashion tips coming soon:)

Flosstradomus feat. Caroline Polachek- "Big Bills"

I'm surprised Flosstradomus took this approach since it is totally not their style... but anyone who works with Caroline Polachek (singer from Chairlift- favorite band of all time), earns my respect.

p.s. Samantha Pleet's Poppy Suit, from her spring 2010 collection, was mentioned in Teen Vogue's most recent editorial...

I love how Amanda Seyfried (right) strikes a similar poise to the model's... But she looks amazing in Samantha's Poppy Suit!

Jack Johnson - To The Sea

Jack Johnson's new album, To The Sea, was released yesterday. I have been obsessing over this all day when I saw someone's status say, JACK JOHNSON'S NEW ALBUM IS OUTTT!! This got me on the phone calling my mom to get it for me. *sigh* I've been so busy worrying about finals I haven't been able to keep up with my favorite artists or even this blog. I'll step up my game after my trip to China...

Can't stop watching this. This hombre is one of the most amazing artists and can surf (with his body and on a surfboard). IDOL right there.

With lots of love,
Yvonne

Lady Gaga Gets Personal on Larry King

The Bad Romance star got personal on last night's Larry King and fans are beginning to worry about their queen of pop. Rumor has it that Lady Gaga may have lupus. Lupus is a chronic, inflammatory autoimmune disorder that may affect the skin, joints, lungs and other organs. Lady Gaga has confessed that the genetic disease has been among her family. However, she underwent testing for the disease that had taken the life of her aunt Joanne and results show that she is currently not affected by the condition. Despite this fortunate news, her doctors still recommend that she takes care of her body in case any symptoms appear. Too late for that, Lady Gaga has announced to Times that she had recently suffered from "heart palpitations and... fatigue and other things." In April, at a concert in Tokyo, she said she had trouble breathing and had a little oxygen before going on stage.
This unfortunate news has fans all over the world worried for the pop star. Will she follow her friend Michael Jackson (whom is also another sensitive subject Gaga agreed to discuss with Larry King) soon? Hopefully not because her reign is still not over.

Sweet dreams,
Yvonne

p.s. In love with Lady Gaga's choice of wardrobe last night: mirror image of Larry King's outfit?

Don't Forget to Fly

With soft powdered pinks and a delicate touch, this collection of photos (each with its own quote) are truly inspiring.
They remind me a bit of Valentine's day...

Yvonne

p.s. When I first discovered this collection, I noticed our websites had the same background!
Vintage wallpapers are beautiful and will never get old :)

Dace Fashion Illustration

Dace has commissioned indie illustrator Dallas Shaw to create lovely fashion illustrations that resemble pieces from their Spring 2010 collection. However, the best part is if you buy something from their Spring 2010 collection, you will be able to receive an illustration!

You can find out more about this here :)

Bad Romance Meets Alexander McQueen

Although, the singer wasn't in attendance, Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance" debuts at Alexander McQeen's spring collection 2010 fashion show in Paris. However, Bad Romance's music video features many of Alexander McQeen's pieces as well... (P.S. you may want to pause the music on my music player to listen to music video below)

I could've done without some of the porngraphy... but the performance in this is amazing. They have really outdone themselves this time and presented Alexander McQueen's pieces wonderfully. Lady Gaga got fashion and can work it. No denying that.
