p.s. I am so sorry that I haven't met any of my promises. There still has not been any reconstruction of the blog, new photos or anything about my trip to the other side of the world... I have been really busy lately but hopefully I'll get all that done during September if sophomore year doesn't have too many plans for me...

p.s.s I have been learning guitar? Got a Cort electric acoustic guitar:) Planning to get an amp soon... I'll try to post a picture of it soon, since my new camera has not come in yet...

The Scenic Motherland

   

Don't worry vonboudoir lovelies... this does not mean I am going to stop blogging, in fact I am going on little adventures so I could write something interesting about myself for once...

My first stop is in Disney World in Florida this April vacation... FOR THE FIRST TIME! I feel like a little kid now for being so excited... but it is Disney World! However, I definitely want to go to the Disney World in Hong Kong one day.

Oh, and speaking of Asia...

I am going to travel to the other side of the world to China this summer with my mom and maybe my sister (who is in traveling around Europe right now). I can not wait to visit my relatives and see what my aunt has planned for us...

Pineapple Mint

All the way in dearest Chicago lives Kimberly Harvey with her three cats and boyfriend, probably knitting something right now...

Or maybe blogging on her delightful blog, Pineapple Mint, where she expresses her fashions or just explains something fascinating that has gone on in her life... as I do. 

However, what got my attention was her archive of vintage delectables!

I have been hunting for a good pair of vintage 70s cowboy boots and these are perfect! I just have to get my mother to agree to get these for me...
 *sigh* She's not really a fan of used items or thrift stores, though. But it's worth a try?

Bird Cages

I have recently discovered Pearled's photostream on Flickr, and it has some of the most amazing photography... I especially love her bird cage pictures, taken at Angel Place, in Sydney, Australia...

I definitely want to go there someday and take pictures of my own.

Well, I have been obsessing over and trying to look for bird cage necklaces ever since I found this one on Pearled's photostream...

It is absolutely gorgeous, but I am sure I'll find one just as magical... :)

España

My sister, Heather, is recently abroad in Spain for the semester and my family and I will be missing her very much... but I, of course, envy her as well...

Spain is such a gorgeous place and I plan to go there one day too... However, for now, I'll just have to absorb what I can from my sister's most recent pictures of the lovely España.
