Threesome Sandwich?

Whoops. Who knew one photo can say so much.

amor,
Yvonne

p.s. I am so sorry that I haven't met any of my promises. There still has not been any reconstruction of the blog, new photos or anything about my trip to the other side of the world... I have been really busy lately but hopefully I'll get all that done during September if sophomore year doesn't have too many plans for me...

p.s.s I have been learning guitar? Got a Cort electric acoustic guitar:) Planning to get an amp soon... I'll try to post a picture of it soon, since my new camera has not come in yet...

p.s.s.s. New fashion tips coming soon:)

Revolution

I saw some of my friends on Facebook get tagged in an album called SIGNS and started loling. I am pretty sure others had thought of this idea before but I have a whole lot of respect for the guy that made this album... I hope he doesn't mind me posting some of his pictures on my blog...

Why use phones, Facebook and email if you could just meet people this way? What a revolution.

p.s. This sign is irrelevant to this post but is definitely the best out of all the signs...

Paper Jam Press

Although I am sure anyone is capable in making these...
They're still pretty awesome!

They have even inspired me to handcraft my own message...

Life is like a Funyun. You taste it, and you like it.
Then you take it for granted
and the next thing you know,
it’s gone. And you miss it. Now
all that’s left are the small
crumbs that remind you of
those great moments,
when in reality, you’ve got
nothing. Nothing but the pain
of an empty stomach.

Well, then just grab another bag of Funyuns and all will be well again :)

It's a bit more complex and longer but...
Oh hell yes.

bestofwishes,
Yvonne

Polaroid Scarves

A collaboration of vivid Polaroid images printed onto silk scarves between Philippe Roucou and M. Cherie.

This is absolutely genius and I definitely wouldn't mind adding this to my scarf collection!
Too bad they don't produce Polaroid film anymore...
At least we can wear them now?

Yvonne

Digby & Iona Stump Ring

I am in need of new rings and I would definitely not mind adding this one to my insignificant collection...(p.s. you may want to pause my music player to listen to the video below)

As UO quoted on their blog... "A ring so cute it gets its own video."
I agree.

hugs&kisses,
Yvonne

Floral Owl

I have found yet another piece to add to my floral obsession...

Katie, from Skunkboy Creatures, is the creator of this dainty looking darling!
This little owl is just all kinds of wonderful and I wish I could reach out and take it right out of the screen, so I can make it a new lovely addition to my room.

Man Makes Chocolate Records

(Note: before watching the video below, you may want to pause my music player to listen)

A man  from Berlin makes delicious chocolate records... sounds good.

Hamburger Macaroon

Do not be tricked. This is no real hamburger. It is in fact, a macaroon!

Who knew this delicious looking meal is actually a sweet little dessert! Talk about hyperrealism...

The buns: cocoa-tinted macarons.
The burger: a slice of dried plum.
The cheese: coffee buttercream.
The lettuce (the pickles?): green decorating sugar.
The mustard: a slice of dried apricot.
The ketchup: raspberry jam.
No tomatoes — they're unforgivably redundant with ketchup, even on a cookie. (I completely agree with this)

Oh, this is just so awesome.

xoxo,
Yvonne

Tea- shirts

Designer Soon Mo Kang has created a humorous and practical way of packaging teabags...

Without burning a finger in the boiling water, people could definitely enjoy these little Hanger Teas... and they would have certainly smoked the tea-packaging awards (if there were such thing) :)

The Indie Rock Coloring Book

Yellow Bird Project presents The Indie Rock Coloring Book...

I just think this little coloring book is adorable... but also check out Yellow Bird Project's catalog... full of amazing graphic tees actually designed by bands and if you buy one, the profit would go to chosen charities... So help out with their mission to help those in need.

Oh. One more thing... check out some of these band's music. They're pretty great:)

Avatar is Pocahontas

I just thought this was hilarious when I found it online and just had to share it with you guys... (p.s. sorry for size of the picture... since I have changed my blog a bit, the posts are  A LOT smaller... If you can't read, click on this link for a larger view of the text below)

Oh wow. This is genius. endofstory.

Vending Machine that Gives People a Break

Problems of modern life are well-documented and not even the holidays can cheer some of us up. Well, we do appreciate the Anger Release Machine created by Katja Kublitz and Ronnie Yarisal, from London. They converted a snack vending machine into a dispenser of various, breakable tschotskes to satisfy the average, struggling passerby.
